Cake baking tips
Cake ingredients including flour, fruits, and flavors should be at room temperature prior to mixing.
Always sieve flour, baking powder to avoid lumps.
Always beat the batter at lowest speed for making a lighter & fluffier cake.
Choose right size pan and grease the pan with Pam or cooking spray. Fill the pan to only two-third to let it have space to rise evenly.
Preheat the oven first before placing the cake pan and make sure to keep pan in center rack.
Use a toothpick, wood skewer to check if cake is done, if it comes out clean then cake is done
Let cake cool for 5-7 minutes before taking it out of pan.
Heat your knife before cutting cake to avoid crumbled slices.
If you are using Pantastic cake pan then you can also experiment using hard candies, break them into pieces, fill those hard candies in the grooves of Pantastic cake pan prior to filling with batter. These hard candies will melt with heat and will come up nicely shaped when you will take cake out from pan.
