    That can easily be achieved by pressing the thumbs (or other fingertips) on the fondant/gum paste/etc, or he may have a special cutter for it to ensure consistency. I know that when I do flowers like that, I just use my fingers, since I don’t have a cutter or press to achieve that effect.

    i’ve been wanting ron ben-israel to design my wedding cake ever since i saw his work for the first time. he’s one of the best, if not the best, sugar artist i’ve ever seen with flowers.
